      <image:title>Home - Collaboration</image:title>
<image:caption>Psychotherapy is a collaborative process: you are an expert on yourself, and I am knowledgeable about development, trauma, and healing. Together, we work to create the conditions for your growth. The process is hard to describe because it is unique for each person. During the first sessions, I begin to assess your needs and figure out how I can be of help. This is a time for you to determine whether we might be a good match. Therapy is a very personal endeavor, and it’s important for you to feel you have found a therapist with whom you can connect; this will be a relationship in which healing is discovered.. By the fourth session, you will likely have a good idea of whether I am the therapist for you, what your goals are, and how long it might take to reach those goals.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>I am passionate about helping people reach their true potential. I am a clinical psychologist, trained in a variety of theories and techniques; from traditional to newly discovered, all validated by neuroscience. Using creative, non-verbal modalities, as well as conversation and inquiry, I enjoy helping people find their own path to healing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Contact - Telehealth My practice has recently move to Telehealth for all sessions. Unfortunately, this limits my work with small children, but I still work with parents, of course! For most people, TeleHealth which has proven to be effective and, aside from being convenient, has some advantages over in-person sessions.</image:title>

<image:title>Contact - My Office I have closed my home office for the time being. Zelly, my elderly golden retriever and retired therapy dog, loved to greet people. Pets can be such a calm, soothing presence; (petting an animal lowers our heart rate). Wherever you choose to be for your sessions with me, I encourage you to have whatever you need to help you stay calm and focused - whether it’s a pet, a cozy couch, coloring, a fidget or another activity to do with your hands.</image:title>

      <image:title>About Me - About me</image:title>
<image:caption>I moved to the Pioneer Valley in 2005 for the beauty, culture, community, and slower pace. Since then, I have had private practice in Brookline, Hatfield, then at the Synthesis Center in Amherst before moving to my home office in the Echo Hill neighborhood of Amherst. Before that, I worked in a variety of settings including outpatient community mental health, a pediatric cancer unit, an outpatient substance sbuse clinic, a school for children on the autistic spectrum, and as a behavioral consultant in Specialized Foster Care. I love the variety and diversity of working with people from 5 to 75, working collaboratively with each unique person to find the puzzle pieces that can help them move forward.</image:caption>
